Excluding files from analysis

I am trying to analyze a project that is using a framework that is vendor-supplied (legacy Atmel Studio with ASF). There are hundreds of files in that framework, and it KILLS the performance of VS Code. My laptop fan is running at high speed virtually non-stop.

How can I exclude the framework’s files? I am not seeing anything in the codescene-health-rules.json file that provides a way to exclude files like this.
